Wedding Fair
Friday 12th September 2008
South Causey Inn,
Beamish Burn Road, Stanley, County Durham, DH9 0LS

Held in conjunction with Dawn Marie Wedding & Event Design, this is the first fair to be held at the newly refurbished Inn.  Set in over 100 acres with beautiful views over the Beamish Valley this traditional yet modern venue can accommodate small, intimate marriages and receptions or large events of up to 100 guests.  With the adjacent Equestrian Centre and beautiful lakes the grounds can also accommodate marquee functions for up to 200 people.

This is an excellent opportunity to view the Inn, meet local wedding suppliers and enjoy a glass of Bucks Fizz whilst planning your big day.

Open to the public from 4pm – 8pm. 
Free admission, free parking and complimentary drinks.

Elite Wedding Fair

Few places can provide such a dramatic setting for your wedding as Alnwick Castle.  No matter what size or type of wedding you dream of, Alnwick Castle is a perfect, exclusive venue. 

Set in the stunning medieval Guest Hall this Elite Wedding Fair gives brides-to-be a fantastic opportunity to see the dramatic, newly refurbished Hall which opens onto a large cobbled Courtyard ideal for marquees or for open-air champagne and canapé receptions.

Set on the banks of the River Wear, The National Glass Centre is a unique glass and steel venue catering for civil marriages, receptions and evening functions from 20 to 200 guests.  This is an excellent opportunity to view the beautiful 'Rooms with Views' including the POD with its picturesque views of the river which will be set for an intimate wedding breakfast.  You can also meet the friendly event staff to discuss your requirements and check available dates.

 

Featuring the very best local wedding suppliers this Elite Fair includes florists, jewellers, photographers, videographers, bridal wear, mens wear, entertainers, cakes, stationers, favours, make-up artists and the region's Registrars.

Marquee Exhibition
Saturday 18th October 2008
Horton Grange Country House Hotel & Restaurant,

In association with Walton’s Marquees, Ponteland, this event, showcases
a 70 ft by 30 ft marquee complete with wooden dance floor and conservatory. 
This invitation only event has been created to show how marquees
can be used both as an extension to a venue or as a complete,
independent reception alternative.

David Walton of Walton’s Marquees will be on hand to show how marquees
can be customised to match your specific requirements whilst
Dawn Marie Wedding & Event Design will be available to discuss how
marquee events can be designed to create truly exceptional, individual events.
